VISION STATEMENT

Our buildings are designed to serve communities, last many lifetimes, and be 100% self sustaining. These buildings will serve as positive examples of future construction practices, while encouraging community pride and development.
We intend to accomplish this by creating buildings with the most resilient materials and utility systems available. We take ideas and styles from Old World buildings that have stood for hundreds of years and harmonize those principles with New World needs in order to:

  • harness elements of nature

  • produce and store their own power and water

  • control their climate

  • cultivate food-producing gardens

Our approach integrates all applicable green building practices such as:

  • passivhaus

  • permaculture

  • zero energy building (ZEB)

  • cradle to cradle: regenerative design

  • urban farming
